Hello,

My name is Robyn and I am Second in Charge of Science at a well known secondary school in Canterbury. Having previously worked as Head of Science in a secondary school in Folkestone, I have experience of teaching all three disciplines to GCSE level as well as Chemistry A Level.

I graduated from the University of Kent in 2015 with a Masters degree in Biochemistry and in 2014, I graduated with a degree in Biomedical Science. I completed my postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE) in 2016 and have been working as a science teacher and tutor ever since.

I thoroughly enjoy teaching and this is demonstrated in my energetic approach to all topics. I understand that for many students science is a difficult subject and therefore I am able to adapt my teaching to suit all learners.

I struggled with dyslexia and anxiety through all my exams and I totally understand how this can effect a students ability to learn and perform. I often use my own strategies to help overcomes these issues, especially during exam periods.
