I’m a Medical Student with an existing BSc Biochemistry degree and several years of experience as a private tutor in Maths, Biology and Chemistry. I’m passionate about education and enjoy helping students develop their understanding, confidence and exam technique. My approach is personalised to each student, with the aim of bringing out their full potential and making challenging topics feel more manageable.

I also offer support to students aspiring to study Medicine, including personal statement guidance and interview coaching. Having experienced the medical school application process myself, I understand the challenges involved and can provide practical, tailored advice to help students approach their applications with confidence.

Experience: I have 10 years of experience teaching A-Level Biology and Chemistry, as well as GCSE Maths and the three sciences. I take pride in being approachable and in tailoring my tuition to the individual needs, abilities and learning style of each student.

I don’t simply teach the content — I follow the relevant National Curriculum and the specific exam board requirements for each student, ensuring that lessons are focused and exam-relevant. I also teach effective study skills and provide practical memorisation techniques to help students retain information and study more efficiently.

As exams approach, I place a strong emphasis on exam-question practice, helping students become familiar with question styles, develop their exam technique and feel fully prepared and confident going into their exams.
