Information about Juliane
I`m a native German from Berlin in Germany and have lived in the UK for over 25 years. Before I retrained as a teacher 7 years ago, I studied and worked in television, most notably the BBC, in London for a number of years.
I now live in Essex with my 2x children and husband.
Availability: See notes, but Mon eve, Fri all day and weekend preferred.

Experience: I`m a native German speaker and experienced secondary school teacher at a comprehensive school in Essex, where I teach German to all year groups, from year 7 to 13.
I enjoy helping learners build confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing German, while making lessons engaging and tailored to each student’s goals. I can offer help across all key stages with a focus on KS4 (GCSE) and KS5 (A level). I`m 15 mins walking distance from KEGS .

Each week my son came out of a 1:1 German lesson smiling and happy. German wasn`t his favourite subject but with Juliane`s support he has been able to turn things around. As Juliane teaches German in secondary school she is very familiar with the different exam boards, their recommended text books and learning materials. As the GCSE exams approached, lesson were targeted for each particular area. Homework was given most weeks and Juliane was able to offer optional extra lessons in the school holidays, which we are very grateful for. I have absolutely no reservation in recommending this excellent German tutor.
