I am an experienced Maths tutor. I can work with children from primary school, secondary school and A-Level, based on their individual requirements, either hardening specific topics or getting ready for exams. My true strength, rooted from my years’ of Maths study and practice, is that I can let students see behind all those complex descri ptions are those few most fundamental concepts and core skills which really matter and the relationship between those concepts/core skills. Once the children understand and master these foundations, they will then see Maths is not so hard or too complex. I can also help students establish the capability on how to break down a complex question into multiple simple and easy questions, which enable them to solve the questions quickly.

I have a Bachelor degree on Mechanical Engineering and a Master degree on Computer Engineering. Both Mechanical Engineering and Computer Engineering are Maths heavy subjects. I hence have very solid deep understanding of the core of Maths and as well have very solid Maths skills.

Through years’ of tutoring my daughter and children from neighbors from 11+ Maths, GSCE Maths, to A-level Maths and Further Maths, I have seen how effectively I can help children move away from being scared of Maths and change into enjoying Maths after they grasp that understanding of Maths. Now my daughter has started her university study in one of the Top universities in the UK and in the world, I am keen to extend my Maths capability to other children in my spare time.

Experience: - Tutored my daughter on 11+ maths, GCSE Maths, A-level Maths and Further Maths; she went to one of the top private girl schools in Hammersmith for her secondary school and she started her uni in UCL from September 2021. She achieved 9 for GCSE maths, A* for both A-level Maths.
