Looking to tutor students ranging from year 7 to upper sixth form, who are wanting to improve their knowledge, understanding and grades within History and/or Politics. To ensure those who want my help feel comfortable my first appointment will be a free consultation to see how I can help and their preferred method of learning. Having been in secondary school, sixth form and completed university I know first hand how stressful revising for exams can be; it is both about the content and also exam preparation like timing, understanding the question and how you provide good analysis to achieve the highest marks.

Availability: Free from 4:30pm on the weekdays Monday-Friday. I am fully flexible with my timings on the weekends so am more than happy to work both mornings or evenings to suit your own personal needs.

Experience: I have studied History at GCSE level and gained an A*, and furthermore at A-level where I achieved a grade A. Similarly, at A-level I gained an A in Government and Politics and was awarded a 2:1 degree in Politics and International Relations at the University of Reading (2020). My job now is working with an LSA in a secondary school in South West London, and having been there for a year, the grades of those I have provided 1:1 sessions for has seen their grades improve from a U to C grade. In addition, I have helped those students who were achieving A grades to boost their knowledge and understanding of essay structures, and what the question is asking to help them achieve the highest grade. My particular favourite topics in history are those of the Tudor period, Civil Rights in the USA and Nazi Germany. However, I do have good understanding of a range of topics, so if these are not the ones you are studying in your curriculum please don`t hesitate to ask me for help.
