I`m 25 years of age and love languages! I`m currently a qualified Spanish Teacher and work in Birmingham. My aim is to pass on my enthusiasm and passion to others and help them to thrive in their own right, by achieving a certain level of confidence that comes with learning a language. I am a committed, outgoing, reliable graduate of BA Spanish and English as well as a post-graduate Diploma in Education, and being a good communicator is a priority for me. These important skills in conjunction with learned academic skills such as reading large amounts of text and analysing the essential points in a short space of time ensure my delivery of educational material is to the best of my ability.


I have a current and up-to-date DBS (CRB) Certificate.

Availability: Mon, Weds, Thurs: 5pm-9pm
Sat: 12-5pm
Sun: 5pm-8pm

I am also available during school holidays if required.

Experience: Before University, I was a volunteer in a local primary school where I spent time listening to Key Stage 1 children read and supported their writing and spelling. Spending a year abroad in Madrid as part of my degree was a challenge but has helped me to develop immense cultural awareness, flexibility and the adaptability of new and changing surroundings as well as increasing my ability to work both in a team and independently. During my year abroad, I was lucky enough to work as a self-employed English Tutor for native Spanish children where I supported their English language learning and helped to develop their own cultural awareness as well as their reading and writing skills. This experience has led to the firm belief that with my friendly and supportive personality I will thrive in the education sector and I hope to train for my PGCE and become a Spanish teacher in the near future. *Update* I have done exactly that and studied for my teaching qualification in 2019!
