I am a 38 year-old qualified and experienced primary teacher and tutor. I can help build confidence and improve your child’s core subject skills. I have a friendly and patient approach and aim to make your child`s learning experience fun and relaxed so that they grow in progress and confidence. I can provide individualised, one-to-one tutoring that some children need to stop them from falling behind, gain confidence and reach their potential.

Experience: I have ten years teaching experience, mainly in upper Key Stage 2 teaching. I have delivered interventions and booster groups in schools for the preparation of national tests (Sats). I have taught as a classroom teacher in year 2, year 5 and 6 and my most recent teaching observations are recorded as outstanding. I use the latest teaching methods and have current curriculum knowledge.

I can support with:

-preparation for the Sats tests (Reading, SPAG and Maths);
-writing improvement
- reading comprehension;
-phonics;
-embedding certain areas of learning pupils may struggle with.
