A private tutor with nearing 10 years experience; I am a graduate of King`s College Cambridge, where I studied Music and was a choral scholar in the world-famous King`s College Choir, the Royal College of Music, where I was a postgraduate scholar, and the National Opera Studio.
I have a love of Classical Music of all periods and I am also a professional opera singer and have worked at The Royal Opera House, Welsh National Opera, Opera Holland Park, Garsington Opera, and English National Opera.
I am passionate about teaching music to the highest standard and inspiring the next generation of musicians - providing an optimum supplementary education for each individual student.
I encourage verbal and written debate and use regular testing to assess a student`s understanding. I believe it is important to cultivate a relaxed and conversational environment to put students at ease.

Outside of music, I enjoy climbing, swimming and cycling.

Availability: I am available weekday evenings, weekends, and school half-terms and holidays.

Experience: I have over 10 years of experience tutoring Music of all levels from beginner to degree, Music Theory up to Grade 8, and Oxbridge admissions.

I specialise in preparation for the written, listening, and composition elements of both the A-Level and Music GCSE papers, for exam boards including Edexcel, AQA, OCR, Eduqas, Cambridge International A-Level, iGCSE, and preparation for practical exams ABRSM up to grade 8 in Theory and Aural.

I have successfully prepared students to gain places to study Music at Oxford and Cambridge, for Music Scholarships to both Westminster and North London Collegiate School, for places at the Royal College of Music (both Junior and Senior), and to gain 100% in composition at both GCSE and A-Level.
