Hello I`m Matt, an Ex-Abbey Road Studios in-house Recording and Mixing Engineer with 10+ years of professional experience. I have worked with some of the most critically acclaimed artists in the world (Frank Ocean`s Blonde, James Blake, Brockhampton, Ezra Collective, Nick Cave)

Currently, I am also diving into the world of mental health where I am in the process of studying to become a counsellor. Here I`m looking to bridge my two worlds together by helping musicians with their underlying emotions and how creativity can be nurtured and encouraged through this process.

Through my professional life in the studio, growing trusting working relationships has always been of upmost importance when embarking on a creative journey together. When tutoring, I integrate these complimentary forces to provide an experience that is nurturing, supportive and tailored to you.

Experience: I have been tutoring online one-to-one lessons since leaving Abbey Road Studios about 2 years ago.

I hold a deep passion for music and enjoy building fruitful and effective learning relationships with my students, acting often as a mentor as well as a tutor.
It has been a joy to meet so many students who are bursting with passion and curiosity.

Having studied Music & Sound Recording on the Tonmeister Course (University of Surrey) I have a strong grounding in Music Technology as a subject and can help those looking to supplement their GCSE, A-Level and Degree learning.
