My first teaching position was in my training school over 15 years ago. Since then, I have worked in a range of schools and colleges, ranging from inadequate to outstanding in both London and Manchester. My parents were both teachers and my wife is a teacher. I am fortunate to be vocation that I`m passionate about and I genuinely enjoy. My sessions are focussed on confidence building and mastering first principles before moving onto complex calculations. Targeted questions are an essential teaching tool used to assess understanding and determine which gaps need filling as what`s the best direction to move in. As an official marker, I can provide explanations on how each exam board (e.g. Edexcel, AQA) will grade students, so the highest possible grade is achieved. I can proudly claim many people have progressed further in education as a result of my services..

Availability: Monday-Friday after 16.00, as well as weekends.

Experience: My first teaching post was in London at Rosedale College, where I was offered an opportunity in my second placement. After three years I decided to purchase a property and live closer to my mother. I accepted a post at Sale High School, which I stayed at for 3 years, achieving middle management training and KS4 Co-ordinator. After Leaving Sale I have developed a new passion as a trainer and fitness instructor, but always continued with home tuition, with great pride in the results received.
