I am a musician and private music teacher who has been tutoring Maths and English since 2016, French since April 2019 and teaching one-to-one music lessons since 2014. I offer lessons in:

Maths (up to GCSE)
English (up to GCSE)
Music (up to A-Level Music, or singing/piano lessons from beginners to grade 8)
French (up to GCSE)

I`m a friendly and engaging tutor who focuses on progress and improvement, rather than comparing pupils to each other. I recognise that different pupils have different learning styles and adapt my lessons accordingly. I`d love to hear from you so that we can talk about whether I`d be a good fit for your child!

Availability: I have limited availability for after school times, but it may be that if you contact me, a slot could become available at the right time.
I have good daytime availability for home-schooled or adult pupils.

Experience: Maths: achieved A at A-level. Tutored dozens of pupils in Maths (especially GCSE) for Cardiff & Vale Tutors, 2016-17. Thoroughly familiar with several different GCSE Maths syllabuses.

English: achieved 2 x A*s at GCSE (Literature and Language). Excellent understanding of spoken and written English, particularly strong at teaching grammar and comprehension. Tutored a GCSE English pupil from a predicted level 1 to a level 4 in 2 months (2018).

Music: MMus (Merit) from Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, BMus (Hons) from University of Birmingham, A* at A-level. Master`s level understanding of all aspects of music syllabus, and over 5 years` experience of private music tuition (singing and piano) and teaching music and singing to groups of people of varying ages.

French: achieved A at A-level, studied extra advanced French module in first year of university, 2 years of French pronunciation classes as part of vocal performance Master`s degree. Good understanding of written and spoken language.
