Hola!!

My name is Serena and I am from Mallorca, Spain.

I moved to UK in September 2014, after I finished my studies in Childcare and Education. The reason I moved to Swansea was because I wanted improve my English and learn more about British culture. Following 3 years in the country and much effort, I believe that I possess a good level of English that will enable me to work in the education sector.

My native languages are Spanish and Catalan, and I boast high-level certificates within both. Furthermore, I am able to communicate in Italian, Portuguese and French on a basic level.

Added to this, it has always been a great desire of mine to teach - ever since I was a child, and I have worked hard for many years in completing courses so as to achieve my teaching qualifications.

What`s more, I consider myself very open and flexible to the needs of all types of learners, and I strive to adapt lessons to suit student`s abilities, personalities and learning styles - applying different methods as appropriate.

Experience: I have experienced the role of a private tutor at all levels, and since the age of 18 I have worked as a private tutor while carrying out my teaching studies.

Moreover, I teach students of all ages and, as well as this, I work with families who want to learn the language together. I believe that is always possible when they are of the same or a similar level.
