I am a Physics graduate and a very experienced Science / Physics and Chemistry teacher who has an excellent track record of supporting students reach their potential. I pride myself in tailoring lessons to students` specific needs which I believe is vital in ensuring excellent results. I am approachable and supportive and use a range of different techniques to support learning. I`m enthusiastic about my subject and have been told that I deliver dynamic lessons. They key to success in Science is understanding the basics and then being able to apply these skills and knowledge to more difficult concepts. I also appreciate the importance of developing exam technique.

Experience: I have been a Senior Teacher for 8 years and a Head of Science for 12 years. I am also an experienced tutor who tutors Physics at `A` Level and Physics and Chemistry at GCSE. I have tutored for several years and enjoy working with students one to one - capturing their interest and enthusiasm for science and helping them be thoroughly prepared for their examinations. I have a knowledge and understanding of the types of questions that appear regularly on exam papers and therefore ensure that my students are taught using a bank of resources that I have developed over the years. I tutor in person but also tutor over the internet using Skype and an interactive whiteboard. This has proved very popular with students removing the problem of having to travel in either direction.
