I`m a secondary school teacher with experience working in both the state sector and the independent sector. I have extensive experience teaching Spanish at KS2, KS3, KS4 and KS5 and French at KS3 and KS4.

Besides classroom teaching, I`ve enjoyed a range of additional professional responsibilities including a very successful time as the KS3 co-ordinator of French and Spanish in a large and thriving MFL department.

I`m a friendly, patient and good-humoured teacher. I believe in using engaging teaching methods to inspire learners and I love seeing students` confidence and enjoyment of languages grow as they develop their knowledge and skills.

I have experience in 1-1 tutoring, conducted face to face privately and through TutorHunt to both GCSE students and adult learners.
Following several years away from private tutoring due to family and professional commitments I`m back and available to tutor!

I`m available for both online and - depending on the logistics / distance required to travel - face to face tutoring.

Professional Qualifications:
2013: PGCE (Distinction) in Modern Foreign Languages (French & Spanish), University of Nottingham

2002: BA Hons (2:1) in Spanish & Politics, University of Stirling
