I achieved 10 A* grades at GCSE, 5 A`s at AS level, 4 A*s at A level and am currently studying Economics at the university of Cambridge and believe I have both the understanding and the in depth knowledge of both mathematical and economic concepts to be an effective tutor in both maths and economics.

I also believe one of the most useful things I am able to teach a prospective student are the effective revision strategies I have learnt through both my own experience taking my exams and the experience of world leading academics at Cambridge. I aim to focus on practice testing based strategies rather than less effective methods such as highlighting and copying out textbooks.

Beyond academics I am a keen rugby player and rower, have had an avid interest in drama and am currently preparing for my grade 8 piano exam. I was also a senior prefect at St Olaves grammar school, one of the leading schools in the country and led a team of prefects who welcomed incoming year 7s into the school and so am very comfortable dealing with children. Ultimately I am a friendly and diligent tutor keen to help potential students improve.

Availability: I`m available from the 1st of June until the 21st of September excluding the 6th to the 20th of June and the 1st to the the 10th of September. I am very flexible in terms of what time of day.

Experience: Having achieved all A*s at GCSE and A level I am familiar with the effective learning strategies required to be successful academically. I have tutored a number of family members and family friends, ran revision sessions at my school for both groups and individuals teaching AS level economics and maths and so have learnt effective strategies to teach others as well as myself. I also ran a workshop for 15 year olds on play writing and so am familiar with a variety of more abstract teaching methods.
