Information about Lydia
As a qualified secondary school teacher of English and languages, I have worked in schools for most of my working life. I am currently working in a secondary school and am teaching English and Spanish to students up to A LEVEL. I am also a qualified TEFL teacher. I have taught and still teach students of all abilities and my patience ensures that every student makes the progress that (s)he is capable of.
* 11+ 2020 Update. All 5 of my pupils met the required standard for the Grammar Schools. * Well done to them all!
Availability: I am available for tuition after the school day or anytime on Saturdays and Sundays.

Experience: I have taught in schools all my life. I have taught Spanish, English and French both in the UK and abroad. I have always taught in mixed ability schools so I have experience of teaching across the ability range and I am able to challenge the very able and I also have the patience and skills to guide those who find learning more difficult.

Lydia helped our daughter to prepare for 11 plus tests. We have been with Lydia for nearly a year and we had 1 lesson a week. We just got results and our daughter has really high pass mark! We are grateful that we met Lydia on Tutorhunt! She is very professional!! Built good bond with my daughter so she was enjoying to have lessons with Lydia. When lockdown had been in place we went to online. Online lessons were as good as visit ones! So i wish all the best for Lydia!! She definitely delivers high quality teaching!!
