Information about Jason
I am Head of Chemistry at a local secondary school. I have been teaching ages 11 to 18 since 2002. I teach Key stage 3 general science and GCSE and A level chemistry.
Availability: I am available in the late afternoon or evenings through the week and weekends.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: After graduating with my degree in applied chemistry from Liverpool John Moores University in 1994, I worked in industry at a chemist at a waste transfer station for 7 years. I completed a Post Graduate in Secondary Education at Keele university in 2001-2 after which I worked in a secondary school in Stafford as a chemistry teacher for 6 years before getting a head of subject post in Lichfield in 2008, where I have been since.

Jason has been helping my son with A-Level chemistry over the last few weeks as he has struggled with the jump from GCSE to A level. Jason has been helping my son understand some of the more difficult concepts of the course and he finds the lessons helpful and informative. I would definitely recommend him!
