Hi, I’m Amie — an experienced and passionate Primary School Teacher with over 16 years in the classroom, and I truly can’t imagine doing anything else!

Helping children experience those amazing lightbulb moments — when something finally clicks and their confidence soars — is the most rewarding part of what I do. I absolutely love supporting children to believe in themselves and realise that they can do it.

I have an in-depth understanding of the Primary curriculum, current teaching methods, and what really helps children learn. I tailor every lesson to each child’s needs, learning style, and personality — because when learning is fun and engaging, children thrive.

After an initial assessment, I create memorable, motivating lessons that close learning gaps and build on your child’s strengths with the right level of challenge. I work with children aged 4–12, supporting everything from early phonics to SATs, 11+ preparation, and transitions into Year 7. I also specialise in helping children catch up with the curriculum and have extensive experience supporting children with SEND including ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and dyscalculia.

My ultimate goal is simple: for your child to feel happy, enjoy learning, achieve their very best, and grow in confidence every step of the way.

Experience: 16 years teaching across Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and South Northants; EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

I am the face behind AH Primary Tuition in Milton Keynes and have lectured at The University of Northampton, supporting trainee teachers with the Primary Phonics/English curriculum using a multi-sensory approach.

I keep up to date with various courses eg. supporting students with dyslexia, and maths anxiety in children.
