Want to improve your grades in GCSE or A level French? I am a qualified teacher, Ofsted rated "outstanding", and former examiner, with many years of experience teaching French.
I can help boost your skills and confidence to improve your chances of achieving the grade you need. Until recently, I was Head of French in a sixth-form college and previously taught in a comprehensive and a high-performing state grammar school. For several years I was an examiner at GCSE and A level. I have an excellent record of achieving exam success for my students and I thrive on working with students to develop their individual strengths and talents.
My lessons are tailored to suit the individual needs of each student. After an initial assessment/consultation, I will create a plan to help the student reach their goal, be that exam success, simply improved knowledge of the language or greater fluency. I see myself as patient, friendly and supportive; I firmly believe that enjoyment of study inevitably leads to success.

Availability: Weekdays during the daytime and early evenings.

Willing to travel: 8 miles

Experience: Over 30 years teaching mostly French to GCSE and A level in independent and comprehensive schools, sixth form colleges and a well-known state grammar school. Also, several years’ experience teaching English as a Foreign Language, in France, Greece and UK.
