I am a friendly and approachable language tutor with several years of experience. I am currently reading for a BA in Modern Languages (French and Spanish) at the University of Oxford, and in my first year I have twice received prizes for Distinction-level work. I achieved three A*s at A level in French, Spanish, and English Literature, and 10 A*s at GCSE. I really enjoy helping my tutees to reach their full potential through fun and engaging lessons in which I use a variety of activities to target specific challenges in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I am happy to work with any students over the age of 12, and I am particularly well equipped for helping home educated students and those with Specific Learning Difficulties. I prefer to tutor online at the moment due to coronavirus, and this is simpler in general as it allows continuity when I move between my home town and university.

Availability: I am available seven days a week 09:00 to 20:00, except for 17:30-18:30 on Fridays and 11:00-12:00 on Saturdays.

Experience: I have tutored languages at both GCSE and A level. My first student achieved a 7 in her GCSE French having been predicted a 3 by her school (testimonial available on request). I have experience of tutoring through an online platform with the Coronavirus Tutoring Initiative, and I’m keen to put this to further use!
