My name is Jamie and I am currently a Graduate Medical student at the University of Nottingham, currently in the top decile of my cohort. I also hold a 1st class degree in Biomedicine from Lancaster University. I finished this within the top 5% of my cohort with an average of 76%. I am very passionate about teaching and have been involved in tutoring my whole educational career. I would now love to apply this passion to helping young students within Derby. I also hold a full adult and child DBS and am located locally within the Chellaston area.

Experience: My educational experience and degrees have given me an excellent understanding of the core fundamentals of Biology as well as a variety of learning techniques and resources. I would like to use this experience and knowledge to help individuals with their understanding of these areas. I think the key to successful tutoring is variety and individuality. I will cater to the needs of each individual student and work alongside them to find a revision strategy that works best for them. I will then structure our sessions accordingly whilst incorporating practice examples to learn exam techniques.
