In my experience as a teacher, I have taught the 3 branches of science to keysatges 3 and 4 as well as my specialist subject, chemistry, at Keystages 4 and 5.
I patiently and clearly explain concepts to students relating them to real life examples as much as possible
I encourage students to develop their thinking skills and revision and examination techniques through the use of past exam papers especially long answer essay type questions.
I work with students to build their self confidence and self discipline to manage their work load and so prepare them for further education or employment.
