Hi all, my name is Tom and I`m a part-time tutor and Professional Accountant. I am ACA qualified and obtained a BSc in Economics from the University of Southampton in 2014. These followed top grades across all GCSE and A Level examinations from Watford Grammar School for Boys. I`m an exam enthusiast who has always enjoyed the Economics, Maths and Accounting arenas, and I`m looking forward to helping others succeed in all three subjects!

Availability: Weekdays (evenings) and Weekends

Experience: I began tutoring 13 years ago where I catered to GCSE students taking core Maths, English and Science exams. Since then, I have devoted all of my efforts towards GCSE Maths, A Level Economics and Professional Accountancy examinations.

I`m a friendly and motivating tutor that strives to provide proactive and enjoyable lessons. Whether its over a series of sessions or even over the school year (if we`re lucky), I want my students to properly engage with their subject in a way that gets the most of out their potential!

Practically, I tailor my approach to every student`s individual needs. After an initial consultation with tutees and/or parents, I aim to build a robust profile of the student`s strengths and weaknesses in a particular subject. I use this profile to develop a personalised revision programme that uses specific learning techniques in order to get the best out of our sessions.
