I am a results-oriented ESL/EFL teacher with 7 years of experience teaching in 3 different countries. I am CELTA certified by Cambridge English Language Assessment and have a proven ability to teach all levels of the language including English for Specific Purposes.

My 7-year teaching experience includes working with over 60 children helping them progress with their language acquisition and more than 200 teen and adult students from the most varied professional fields from business and law, to medicine and engineering and more.

I specialise in helping students achieve their specific goals by devising detailed personalised learning plans that aid my students toward successful results.

Availability: I am available for sessions mornings and afternoons on weekdays and Saturdays in the afternoon.

Experience: In my years teaching English as a Foreign Language I have:
- helped over 30 students advance from their initial language level to the following in half the expected time with well-designed intensive lessons.
- taught Survival English to 2 families, successfully preparing them to move to English-speaking countries and aiding them in understanding critical cultural differences.
- taught Pre-Intermediate to Advanced Business English to 6 privately taught students, including helping them with professional presentations and interpersonal and communication skills, having landed one of my students an import contract with a foreign corporation as a result.
- aided professionals in the most varied specialised fields: business, banking, medicine, law and engineering, achieve their desired results in language acquisition and therefore have breakthroughs in their professional fields.
- assisted university students with written projects such as essays, doing Proof Reading and Editing services, and helping students elaborate and prepare for oral presentations.

I have worked in over 5 well established and recognised English teaching institutions namely in Brazil, Portugal and England.

I am a Portuguese native speaker and so have specialised in helping students with very specific accent reduction in addition to being able to help students adjust to unexpected cultural and social differences.
