I specialise in GCSE English Language and Literature, working privately and in schools to provide tuition one-to-one or in small groups.
I focus particularly on Years 10 and 11, helping students with content, skills and exam technique.
I also tutor for English Literature at A Level.
Availability: Weekdays, evenings after 4pm.

Experience: I hold a teaching qualification (PGCE) and a DBS clearance.
I have recently worked with pre-GCSE students via teaching agencies in their homes and also with small groups in their school.
I focus on confidence and skills-building and coach students in how to approach their exams to best effect.

I started tutayı;m for my son with Steve for GCSE English language and literature. Online lessons are not my son’s strongest points especially after COVID. However, Steve engaged him during the lesson and his interaction with my son was very positive. I can see him getting more confident. Steve is very organised and punctual, planning well his lessons, and always sends me a feedback after each lesson so I feel I am aware of my son’s progress .

We wanted to improve our boy`s grade a little and searched for someone who could help with his writing. After the first lesson he said "it has been great help" and we could see that he is enjoying it as he seems to be getting alot of inspiration.
