I am a very flexible, kind-hearted and understanding qualified teacher with a specialism in secondary geography. I have recently graduated from my PGCE at Oxford University with a distinction, and i have a first class Master`s in environmental studies.

I am extremely passionate in my subject area, and i have a vast array of knowledge in chemistry and environmental science! I specialise in tutoring geography at KS3, GCSE and A-level, and happy to tutor chemistry at KS3 and GCSE.

After suffering with anxiety in secondary school, i have a strong understanding of the associated impacts this can have on learning! As such, i am committed to creating a positive and encouraging learning experience for all students! On top of this, I also have experience in providing 1:1 assistance with SEN students and those who have learning barriers.

I am also able to provide advice, tips and assistance with university personal statements.

Experience: I have recently completed my PGCE studies at St. Hugh’s College, University of Oxford. During this time, I undertook my teaching placement at a comprehensive secondary school where I taught all ages and abilities from KS3 through to A-level.

I specialise in teaching the Edexcel specification, however, i am adaptable to teach additional syllabuses if desired. I teach both human and physical geography! I have also volunteered as a Teaching Assistant, where i provided 1:1 assistance for SEN students.

Before starting my PGCE, I studied for my first-class MSc in Environmental Pollution where i gained expansive subject knowledge in environmental science (including chemistry). I also undertook my undergraduate degree in geography at Bath Spa University.

I am a member of the Geographical Association and Royal Meteorological Society!
