Information about Andy

Currently only teaching online following PHE advice on social distancing.

I`m a dedicated student who will be starting his second year at Imperial College London studying Medical Biosciences in October.

I achieved all A*s in Maths and the 3 Sciences (Biology, Physics, Chemistry) at GCSE and then went on to learn Maths, Biology and Physics at A-Level.

As my university has been cancelled due to COVID-19, I have a lot of time to look over each student`s work individually. This is especially important now that secondary schools across the country are closing, and students are unable to easily access the teachers they rely on for their education. Despite exams being cancelled, it is almost certain replacement exams will be put in place, and so it is essential to not slack over the extended break and forget the material they have learnt over the past few months.

Availability: I am generally free throughout the week and am very flexible on timings.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I have had good experience tutoring GCSE Maths and Science, as well as 11+ for over a year now.

I have also taught GCSE level content to Year 8 students as part of a mentoring programme at school. As such, I have experience in making difficult topics understandable and enjoyable.

I also have been teaching piano on a regular basis for the past year to several students, some of which are now finishing Grade 2 in little over a year.
