Hi my name is Jo and I am a qualified and experienced teacher. I am passionate and a highly motivated teacher. I am very organised and proficient. I bring out the best in my students and recognise individuality. Every student has their own strengths. I work with students and use different learning styles and teaching strategies. This keeps my learners engaged, focused and enables them to reach their potential. I have a teaching degree (PGCE) and a Cambridge CELTA degree to teach English as a second language. I specialise is TEFL and teaching English as a second language to all levels and ages.

Availability: I am available mornings , afternoons and evenings.

Experience: I have a lot of experience teaching . I have been teaching for over 7 years. I have experience teaching all levels and ages and have specialised in teaching TEFL and English as a second language. I have taught in schools, colleges, universities, In class and online. I have a lot of experience teaching challenging and disengaged learners, and learners with additional learning needs between the ages of 16 and 18. My teaching began with teaching essential skills such as English literacy and English as a second language such as ESOL in colleges. I also teach English privately in all levels and have taught on intense summer programmes.
I specialise in Teaching ESL to speakers of other languages and can help and support with conversational English , business English, exam preparation for IELTS abt TESOL B1 and C1.
I have all the Oxford headway courses and a big variety of teaching resources, materials and lesson plans. I use a variety of teaching methods and strategies in my lessons to suit individual learner needs. I have a PGCE teaching degree and a Cambridge CELTA degree which specialises in teaching English as a foreign language.
