I am an experienced secondary school English teacher, who has practised in comprehensive state schools, grammar schools and private institutions. This means I have a breadth of knowledge across different exam boards, but specialise in AQA.
Now a KS4 leader at my current school, I particularly pride myself on my ability to prepare students effectively for their GCSEs, with innovative approaches tailored to their individual capabilities. This includes plugging any ‘learning gaps’ which have appeared as a result of the lockdowns over the past couple of years.
Younger students can also benefit from private sessions; at KS3, I am able to finesse writing and comprehension skills, and build confidence in preparation for future academic years.
