Hello, I am Jacqui
I have been teaching for 10 years including 6 years as a Head of Business Studies. Prior to teaching and having children I worked in the hotel and travel industry. I am a qualified teacher and have been DBS checked. I have a degree and masters degree in Psychology. I have experience in teaching Business at A Level, GCSE and BTEC Level 3 all with great results.
I have been an examiner for Pearsons Edexcel BTEC and my current job involves being a lead verifier which means that I check that the teachers are marking everything correctly.
I really love it when the student has that "light bulb" moment when everything just suddenly clicks into place. That`s when their confidence grows.
Most of my students find the exam questions and the finance part of the exam daunting but I take them through it step-by-step, explaining in simple terms until they understand it and can tackle it on their own.
Availability: I am available after school from 5.30pm..
