Jose David

Mi name is Jose. I grew up in the midst of the `costeño´ culture in Barranquilla, Colombia. After finishing my medical degree, I moved to Barcelona in 2007 to work as a doctor. I worked for 5 years as a GP doctor in different private clinics around Barcelona before specialising as Neurophysioligist. I moved to the UK in 2020 to live with my partner.

Experience: I have had a great experience as a tutor helping my partner to learn Spanish over the last few years, and I also understand the challenges of learning a new language as an English student, including now as I prepare to write the IELTS academic English exam to allow me to practice as a doctor in the UK. I love people and travel and have had opportunities to meet people from many different cultures. I bring all of this personal experience into my Spanish tutoring by focusing on making the experience fun and interactive, and I love nothing better than sharing my passion for Spanish and Latin American culture and food as part of the process.
