I take pride in being a creative and enthusiastic composition, conducting, theory beginner/intermediate trumpet and beginner/intermediate piano teacher. I approach each student as an individual depending on previous experience and their current level. I consider my primary and most important task as a teacher to inspire and stretch my students but also help them enjoy the amazing phenomenon that is music.

Experience: I have worked on the award-winning Purcell School of Music`s `Outreach` program. This involves leading and giving creative workshops at schools around the country. Recently, I have been involved with teaching on the Go Compose! music courses. Go Compose! is a national initiative that aims to provide opportunities for secondary-aged young composers who have tried composing and want to learn more run by the fantastic organisation Sound and Music.

I have had a steadily growing, happy group of private students.
