I am a friendly, encouraging and patient tutor able to support pupils with their Drama and English studies. I recently graduated with a First Class Honours in Drama and Theatre from the University of Kent. I am now a young industry professional owning my own theatre company aimed at children with special needs aged 4-11. Drama is an incredibly powerful subject as it offers multiple ways of expressing ourselves, play out different scenarios and capture different moments in time. I aim to boost confidence in my students, make learning enjoyable through working together!

For drama tuition, I can support both theoretical and practical sessions depending on the students’ needs. I can support essay writing, theatre reviews, evaluations and rehearsal journals. I can help to develop a clear understanding of dramaturgy, theatre techniques, practitioners and play texts. I can offer practical sessions on monologues, character work and devising.

My specialism is drama but I am also able to tutor GCSE English Language, Literature and A Level Literature. I can aid with exam preparation, essay writing, annotating texts and time management skills. These are qualifications I have studied for myself and understand the challenges of writing multiple essays during an exam.

All sessions are currently online only.
I have an up to date Enhanced DBS check.

Availability: I am available Thursday, Fridays and over the weekend.

Experience: I have a First Class Honours Degree in Drama and Theatre from the University of Kent. I have mentored drama students to develop both practical and theoretical work. I have gained experience delivering drama workshops in a local school for children aged 11-14.

I have experience working alongside secondary school drama teachers and helping to deliver classes.

I am confident using an online platform to teach students and have extensive experience giving presentations and performing over video call in a virtual environment.

My theatre company works with children on a one to one basis, which has developed my understanding of how to positively engage with a student so they can achieve their best.
