I am a dedicated maths teacher with seven years of experience helping students of all abilities to improve their confidence and achieve their goals. I hold a Mathematics and teaching qualification degree from University of the West of England and have experience teaching GCSE, IGCSE, and A Level Maths.

I am particularly passionate about working with students who may find maths more challenging or who lack confidence in their ability. My approach centres on identifying gaps in understanding and addressing these step by step, helping students to build strong foundations and develop confidence over time. I aim to make maths accessible and engaging, using clear explanations, scaffolded practice, and consistent reinforcement to help students experience success and build a more positive relationship with the subject.

Experience: I have experience teaching both GCSE, IGCSE and ALevel Mathematics across exam boards including AQA and Edexcel, supporting students with a wide range of abilities. My teaching has covered both Higher and Foundation tiers, and I am confident in preparing students for exams through structured lessons, targeted practice, and a strong focus on exam technique.

I have taught other courses including Connecting Maths Concepts and Maths in Context, which have strengthened my ability to present mathematical ideas in a clear, relatable way to students who may struggle to usually grasp certain mathematical concepts. This has helped students make meaningful links between topics and develop a deeper understanding, rather than relying on memorisation alone.
