My lessons focus on all skills of English - reading, writing, listening, and speaking - so students can improve in a structured and thorough way. Land of Learning Nursery & Primary School- Teaching Assistant
I worked in a Nursery for 3 days, helping with displays, doing activities with the children and tidying up after them. I asked to be placed into a classroom so that I could experience the learning aspect of different subjects. While I was there for 2 days, I made a Maths display and was also asked to help the children with their work if they needed help. This really helped me build my confidence to work with children.

I volunteered in a Year 4 and Year 5 class and I was asked to mark books, help the children when they need help, assist with teaching, make displays. I enjoyed this role and I built a great relationship with the class teacher. I received great feedback from many members of staff, especially the Year 4 teacher.
