Having recently relocated to Cumbria from Suffolk, I am loving getting out and enjoyingmy beautiful new surroundings! We have two lovely labradors (which can be far away if you are not a dog person) and I am happy to teach from our home in North Stainmore, or can travel to you, if you are within the area.

Availability: I am available days, evenings and weekends.

Experience: I have been a teacher and Senior Leader in schools for 24 years. I have taught both English Language and English Literature to GCSE, but have also helped students prepare for their KS2 SATS, and supported other students at all stages of their education. Often students who have not attended school for some time have found my work helpful to catch up gaps, but many others simply find it confidence building and helpful in preparing for exams.

I teach with the individual in mind, and will work hard to understand their specific needs. I see it as very important to build bonds with my students, and many keep in touch beyond our time working together. I hope I can be helpful, working with you or your child.
