Hello! I`m Toby and I`m a second year student studying Biology at the University of Oxford. I see myself as a hard-working and reliable individual and hope to inspire a similar passion for study through tutoring. Having taken modern exam formats myself, I understand the skills required to succeed in both the GCSE and A-level syllabus. I am available to tutor maths up to GCSE and Chemistry and Biology at GCSE and A level.

My tutoring technique will involve explaining complex concepts in an easy to understand format and working through past paper questions to help students consolidate their learning and develop proper question technique. I will focus on weaker topics and help my tutees understand how to approach tricky questions so they are fully prepared for exams. I can also provide advice on revision skills to consolidate learning outside of lessons. For any A-level students, I`m happy to provide any advice on university applications. I`d like to think I`m both friendly and approachable so if you have any questions feel free to get in touch!

Experience: I have achieved an A* grade in Maths, Chemistry and Biology A-levels and an A in an EPQ dissertation focused on conservation and climate change. I have also achieved 13 A* grades and 3 9s at GCSE along with an a in additional maths.
I have experience in tutoring both younger years and other A level students in Maths, Biology and Chemistry during my time at secondary school and sixth. I have also acted as a DofE mentor for two years, which involved the planning and teaching of lessons on outdoor education skills to year 8 and 9 students.
