I have an animal rescue centre and ran a Scout group for 40 years.I am very much an outdoor person and have never seen Eastenders or Coronation Street. I taught in a secondary school in Portsmouth for 45 years and have taught adults at evening classes as well as individuals for private tuition. I do not lecture as this is a one way process. Instead I try to build on the experiences of a student to establish a firm foundation from which progress can be made. It is essential that a session should be fun for both of us.

Experience: I taught secondary science and maths for 42 years during which time I also ran Adult Education classes in GCSE mathematics. I do not lecture,I teach by drawing on a student`s existing experiences
