Information about Sarah
I am an MSc graduate with an interest to help the next generation of young adults shape their future. I have extensive experience mentoring students of many different abilities to ensure that they meet their full potential.
I have a degree in Biomedicine and a Master`s degree in Cardiovascular Research; both of my degrees were completed at the highest ranking universities in the UK. I currently work in research where I am able to use both my interpersonal and academic skills in a working environment. During my time at University, I was part of several societies and several tutoring/mentoring schemes, which I found particularly rewarding.
I have a special interest in teaching GCSE and A-levels but can be flexible and assist in undergraduate studies/University preparation/interview preparation etc. Aside from my university qualifications, I also have Biology, Chemistry, English Lit, Maths and Psychology A-levels and 13 GCSE`s at an A*-A grade.
I am a hard-working, cheerful and pro-active tutor with the ability to adjust the way I teach according to each student`s specific needs. I tailor every session and work with my student`s to understand what they want out of each lesson and their short-term and long-term goals! My teaching style varies and is dependent on assessment of which approach I believe you will benefit most from. Together, I am confident we can achieve your full academic potential!
