Hi, my name is Iglika, I am a qualified teacher of Mathematics and have been teaching KS3 and GCSE students for ten years.
I am a friendly and approachable tutor who is passionate about working with young people and about the subject of Mathematics.
I am familiar with the recent changes to the GCSE curriculum and more specifically with the new topics introduced.
My practice is to assess the individual student and identify gaps, misconceptions and areas that need addressing in order to move forward. My approach is to establish a solid subject knowledge foundation and then further build on it. The confidence and the self-belief of my students is my priority. My other key focus is working on improving exam techniques.
Whatever grade you aim at I will be more than happy to work with you and assist you in achieving your full potential. I have an excellent track record and am happy to provide references. All my GCSE students that sat the exam in June 2019 passed, and reached or exceeded their target grade. Do get in touch to discuss further.
