My 10 year tutoring experience is vast, ranging form tutoring at seminar level at university, to private home tuition for KS3, GCSE, and A Level. I have also set up tuition programmes at state schools in London. I have a specialist area of tuition, namely exam preparation.
Many people can attempt to teach maths, however it takes a certain type of person to communicate maths effectively. Over the years, i have collected information and experienced the fact that students need to learn more applied maths techniques for exams. Its simply not good enough to just learn how to solve and equation, or do some long multiplication. The mindset and understanding of problems in context are key to success, and this is what i teach. Circa 200 students have passed through my professional tuition service, and I could count on one hand the amount that didn`t achieve a C grade or higher. Most achieve B or higher.
