Learning needs to be instilled as a lifelong passion and, I personally believe, creative and interesting methods should be used to solidify the material being taught. The best tutors are the most memorable ones and the ones that take the time to develop confidence in their students I do this, and I believe that each individual can achieve whatever they wish with the correct friendly support and fun atmosphere.


Firstly, my educational background comprises of a Degree in English and Creative Writing, and completion of the PGDE Teaching Qualification in Literacy and ESOL. My experience ranges from primary (and pre-school) to my current teaching in adult education. My skills have been developed by working with North West theatre companies and writers` workshops, including the BBC. But most importantly, I believe that education is an essential tool to enable people to fulfil their ambitions and I am passionate about helping people on their journey. It helps to have a good sense of humour and friendliness in this field, also!

Experience: Literacy and Esol teacher of adults in the Life Long Learning sector.
Taught in Multicultural Primary schools from Early Years Foundation to Year Three.
>Have my own two children of primary age who are partly tutored by myself and top of their class.
>Worked with post-fourteen age group and adults with behavioural difficulties, improving Literacy and English skills.
> PGDE in Literacy and ESOL, which involves teaching adults Literacy and one-to-one English speakers of other languages.
Teaching 12th Graders in the USA.
