I am a qualified teacher with four years’ teaching experience. I have taught French and Portuguese to GCSE level and Spanish at Key Stage 3.

Having prepared students for GCSEs many times, I always focus on exam skills as well as the fundamentals of listening, reading, writing and speaking. My calm and methodical approach to teaching grammar ensures all students have a secure base on which to build their linguistic knowledge.

Experience: After completing my degree in French and Portuguese at the University of Bristol, I undertook my teacher training in London and have taught in a variety of schools. In addition to teaching French and Spanish on the main curriculum, I have supported several students through the GCSE Portuguese exam by building on the Portuguese they had learnt at home through a parent.
