I have an Honours degree in Chemistry and a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Edinburgh. I worked in academic research for 5 years before moving to Cambridge in 1999. After working for 14 years as a scientific editor, I became self-employed in 2014. Since then I have published a book on plants and their chemistry and uses and also worked on a range of chemistry-related publishing and education projects. I also give talks about chemistry relating to plants to groups in the Cambridge area. I am a chartered chemist and member of the Royal Society of Chemistry.

Experience: I am an Examiner for A level Chemistry. I have experience in tutoring students in A level, IB, Higher and IGCSE Chemistry. I have also contributed to the production of Chemistry workbooks for IGCSE level Chemistry.
