As a G.C.S.E. History teacher I have recently taught the new Edexcel 9-1 History syllabus Paper 1, Medicine in Britain and World War One, Paper 2, American West and Henry 8th and Paper 3, Weimar Germany and Nazi Germany. Previously for many years I have taught the A.Q.A. Modern World Syllabus, Paper 1 Europe 1900-1939 and Paper 2, (the in depth studies) Germany and U.S.A. 1919-1939. My knowledge of the GCSE syllabus has been greatly improved through marking AQA GCSE History papers from 2015 to present. Previously I have taught G.C.S.E. The Industrial Revolution.
As an A-level History teacher I have recently taught A.Q.A. Britain 1815-84 at A and AS Level and Britain 1951-2007 at A2. Previously I have also taught A-level Russian and German History 1871-1953.
As an A-level Government and Politics teacher I recently have taught both modules of the A2/AS A.Q.A. course; People, Politics and Participation and Governing Modern Britain.
At Key Stage 3 in History I have taught the key themes style approach as well as various aspects of; Medieval Realms, Tudor Times, Civil War, China, The Industrial Revolution, Slavery, M.L.K. and Malcolm X, J.F.K. Native American Indians, World War 1, World War 2, and the Holocaust.
I have taught lower school Humanities on a regular basis covering many aspects of K.S.3 Geography and Religious Education.
I have also previously taught G.C.S.E. Business Studies and Religious Education and Key Stage 3 Physical Education.
I have written numerous schemes of work, assessments and revision guides for K.S.3, G.C.S.E. and A-level History. I have taken responsibility for differentiation in the department and as part of this role, I have produced resources which have been rolled out across the county to support pupils with special learning needs. I have been the Humanities Learning Support Coordinator and a Pupil Premium coordinator and I have also been asked to represent the school at local Heads of History meetings to share best practice.
Availability: I am available evenings 5.00pm - 9.00pm and weekends 9.00am - 9.00pm.

Experience: I have taught History at KS3, KS4 and KS5 for nearly 30 years covering a variety of different boards, syllabus and topics. I have also taught Politics at KS5.
I have taught Geography and Religious Education at KS3 as a Humanities teacher, again covering a vast selection of material.
