Hello, my name is Rebecca. I am a friendly, Cambridge CELTA Grade B qualified teacher of English as a foreign language.

I grew up in Dorset, on the south coast of the UK and have lived in London for the last 15 years.

I like cooking, running and playing tennis. I ran the London marathon in October 2021 and am very proud of the achievement.

In addition to teaching, I am studying a BA Linguistics & Language at University of London, and I am studying Spanish.

I currently teach English in an award winning English-language school and also 1-2-1 private lessons in person and online.

I have experience teaching Young Learners through Summer School in London and have full enhanced DBS clearing.

Availability: Flexible

I am studying a BA Linguistics & Language at University of London, so have a very flexible timetable.

I currently have availability for weekdays in the daytime for face-to-face, in a cafe or library - or if you prefer, I also offer online lessons via Zoom/Skype/FaceTime.

Experience: I am Cambridge CELTA Qualified - and passed with an advanced grading - Grade B.

I am also UK TEFL Qualified.

Currently working in a Language school and teaching EFL one-on-one.

Privately teaching adult in all aspects of English language including Business English, IELTS and general English.

I volunteer with two separate charities; An adult literacy charity that provide 121 coaching to teach adults to read, and a Refugee teaching programme that provides 121 English language lessons.

I have experience tutoring one-to-one and also teaching classes and groups.

I work with all ages, levels and nationalities.

I have also taught Young Learners (14-17) at a prestigious private London summer school, and have been tutoring English GCSE and A-level to native speakers.
