I’m a recent graduate of Kings College London (MA) and Oxford University (BA). I am a strong believer in the power of tutoring to complement school study; one-to-one tuition helps a student tackle individual issues that cannot be resolved in a larger group. I have found this to be the case at all levels, from early learners through to Oxbridge applicants. Personal and professional experience has confirmed that with dedicated support and a tailored approach all students can exceed both their own and their teacher’s expectations. I gain enormous satisfaction from seeing this in practice and observing the growth in a pupil’s confidence as they go on to achieve their goals. When I am not tutoring, I work as an actor. My experience in this field supports my teaching, through my emphasis on strong communication, creativity, working co-operatively and confidence building.

Experience: Four years of teaching experience. I teach GCSE and A level English as well as Religious studies. I also have extensive experience teaching the
Maths, English, Verbal, and Non-Verbal to get students through the 11+. Pupils have been accepted into Emanuel, City of London, Francis Holland, Godolphin, Haberdashers, Latymer, Nothing Hill and Ealing, Putney High and Wycombe Abbey.
