Information about Amy
Completed BSc in Biomedical Science at St. Georges University London. I have been passionate about teaching from a young age, I started volunteering as a tutor at the First Class Learning centre in Southgate at the age of 16 and then started private 1 to 1 lessons. I have received positive feedback from both students and parents who have benefited from my tutoring and witnessed the results through their improvements within the classroom.
Availability: ***COVID-19 NOTICE- while the lockdown is ongoing, I have availability at anytime from Monday-Friday.
Saturdays are fully booked at the moment, but please enquire if this is the most convenient for you.

Experience: I have been a tutor with First Class Learning (Southgate branch) for 6 years where I have gained experience teaching the national curriculum for maths and english for ages 5 to 16. I have also coached children who have applied to sit 11+ and 13+ exams; having sat and passed the 11+ exam myself I have a unique understanding of the skills and techniques which are required to succeed. I have also been a private tutor for 6 years, teaching science and english (language and literature) for secondary school children up to GCSE level. I mostly teach 1 to 1 lessons but I also have experience teaching in a group setting.
