I am a fully qualified Biology/Science teacher with over 20 years’ experience of teaching, having taught all three sciences at GCSE. Additionally, I have a wealth of experience of Biology A-level teaching, essential for obtaining the higher grades. This experience includes both the AQA and OCR examination boards. Currently I am teaching at a local OFSTED Outstanding school.

I have an excellent record of working with students of all abilities to improve their grades. In doing this this I work hard to identify the individual needs of students and employ an armoury of techniques tailored to the specific requirements. This support helps students dramatically improve their grade and obtain their aspirations

I have numerous years of experience in marking examination questions and am able to pass on this knowledge of examination technique. Hence, I am able to guide students to truly fulfil their potential in the rigorous assessments of GCSE and A-level.

Availability: Mainly evenings and weekends, with some availability during the day.

Experience: I have 20 years’ experience as a Science and Biology teacher and have been a successful tutor over the past 15 years. During this time I have also experienced as a parent what it’s like to have your children take GCSEs and A levels and the support that is needed.
