I`m Imogen, nice to meet you! I studied at the University of York - completing my biomedical science degree in 2022 and my masters in public health in 2023.

I have a place to study at Cambridge medical school in September 2025, but until I am a student again, tutoring is my full time job! I decided to take up tutoring to continue the subjects I enjoy whilst applying for medicine. My interest in these subjects is more than just academic - I genuinely love understanding the world around us. I`ve always found joy in sharing this passion and seeing that "aha" moment when a concept clicks.

For summer 2025 in the run up to my medical course starting, I am now only offering UCAT and medicine application tutoring.

## Summer 2025 Availability Update ##
As I will be a student myself from next academic year, I am currently only offering tutoring for the UCAT and medicine/dental applications, interview preparation, etc. I am no longer taking on new maths or science students.

## Accessibility & Reduced Rates ##
I know medicine is an underrepresented profession, and financial privilege can make a huge difference in accessing resources like UCAT tutoring. Though I believe my rate reflects my expertise as a two-time top 1% UCAT scorer and incoming Cambridge medical student, I want to help level the playing field.

If you`re eligible for free school meals, from a widening participation background, or facing financial hardship, I may offer a reduced rate on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out with a brief message about your circumstances - I trust students to be honest, and discounts are at my discretion.

Experience: I specialise in UCAT and medicine/dental application tutoring, and have supported over 40 students across the last two cycles - many of whom have gone on to achieve top UCAT scores and secure interviews and offers. I personally scored in the top 1% on the UCAT two years in a row (3330 B1 in 2023 and 3270 B1 in 2024), and I hold a place to study Graduate Medicine at Cambridge starting this September. Alongside UCAT prep, I help students build confidence for interviews and guide them through the application process.

Over the past two years, I have also tutored more than 60 students in biology, chemistry, and maths, which has helped me develop a flexible and engaging teaching style. I’m experienced in working with both UK and international applicants, for undergraduate and graduate entry to medicine and dentistry.

Since the UCAT is itself an online exam, teaching online is particularly effective. I can share my screen, annotate questions in real time, and demonstrate shortcuts and keyboard tricks to help students prepare effectively.
